VISAS

Since the course is only one month long, you may come as a tourist (a Student Visa is not required).  At the present time the Costa Rican government does not require you to obtain a tourist card in advance.  They simply stamp your passport when you enter the country and you are allowed to stay for up to 90 days from your date of entry without a penalty.  The government of Costa Rica is currently requiring all foreigners to enter the country with a passport.  If you do not have a passport you should allow 6 weeks to apply for and receive a new passport.
