FORMAT

• Two classes, Grammar & Conversation, will be offered each afternoon from 1:30 - 3:15 p.m., Monday - Friday.  If we are not able to place you in a group, you will be offered two (50 minute) hours of individual attention.  

• Classes are offered at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.  Pronunciation is stressed in class, and depending on level and interests, writing skills may be offered.

• Classroom methodology is very communicative.  Community-oriented conversation activities are assigned.

• The course is intensive:  Students are expected to assimilate material quickly and spend at least 3 hours a day in language learning activities outside of class.

• Placement in study groups, orientation to living in Costa Rica, and information on services available to students will begin at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of  classes.
