The Big Brother Coordinator (a current student) connects each incoming new student or family with a continuing student who will contact the new students to answer questions, secure housing for them before their arrival (either a rental house or a room with a Costa Rican family), meet them at the airport, and help them get oriented to their new living situation.
Expenses incurred by an incoming student's Big Brother (for telephone calls, housing deposits, supplies, etc.) are deducted from the housing deposit collected during the process of application.
